Distinctive Objects closing its doors.

After many years of designing and making kits for Design & Technology classrooms, Distinctive Objects will close at the end of 2026.

What this means for you

• Last orders: The store will take orders until [Friday 4 December 2026]. All orders placed by then will be sent before the Christmas break.

• Schools ordering by purchase order: Please send POs by [27 November] so there's time to process them before the end of term.

• Stock: Some kits are limited and won't be restocked. Once an item has sold out, it's gone.

• Resources: Guides, code and teaching materials on the Resources page will stay available to download until [31 December 2026]. Please save anything you use in your schemes of work before then.

• Questions: We'll answer queries  until [31 January 2027] via the contact form or distinctiveobjects@outlook.com

Thank you to every teacher, technician, student and maker who has used our kits. Watching them turn up in classrooms and projects has been the best part of running this business.
